Acceptable Use Policy
Postline is for legitimate transactional email. Abuse controls take priority over quota availability or paid status.
Report abuseProhibited
- Phishing, impersonation, credential theft, malware, or deceptive links
- Purchased, scraped, harvested, or unlawfully shared recipient lists
- Unsolicited bulk or high-risk financial and cryptocurrency promotions
- Sender-address spoofing or evasion of authentication and suppression controls
- Repeated sends to bounced, complained, unsubscribed, or otherwise suppressed recipients
- Attempts to probe, overload, resell, or bypass Postline controls
Required sender practices
- Use verified domains and accurate From identities.
- Keep complaint and bounce rates below the limits communicated during onboarding.
- Provide a working unsubscribe mechanism for applicable mail and RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe for marketing streams.
- Investigate unusual volume, credential exposure, and recipient complaints immediately.
Enforcement
Postline may hold, throttle, quarantine, or suspend traffic without advance notice when signals indicate risk. Serious abuse can cause permanent termination and preservation or disclosure of records where legally required.
