Billing questions
What happens if I go over my monthly volume or a safety rate?
The API returns 429 before queueing the message. Monthly capacity resets with the billing period; short-window anti-abuse rates recover automatically. Paid plans have no midnight daily quota.
When does production sending turn on?
Immediately after signup, including on the free plan. Before domain verification, the sandbox sender can email project members only.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades apply to your project's limits; Business plans are reviewed individually before a written agreement.
